Return of the King... Kong
With Return of the King only just finished, an Extended Edition DVD still to edit, and global publicity commitments for the next month, you'd think Peter Jackson would be looking to take a break in the new year, but no: he's already working on his dream project of remaking the 1933 classic King Kong. Reports indicate that Naomi Watts is close to signing on as the girl-in-King-Kong's-hand(literally)-and-heart(metaphorically), and Andy Serkis might actually bring to the big ape all the personality and complexity that he has already with Gollum. Sound nifty to me! But, seriously, does Peter Jackson ever actually sleep?
