Other Interesting Reports:

Australian IT
reports that Canadians will be paying extra taxes on MP3-Players to help reimburse artists for unpaid MP3 tracks. The New York Times reports on "BarneyCam", as Dubya's dog goes all webcam to show the lighter side of the WhiteHouse (no kids, this actually happened!). The New York Times also added on the Canadian front that the MP3 decision means "Downloading copyrighted music from peer-to-peer networks is legal in Canada, although uploading files is not, Canadian copyright regulators said yesterday." The New York Times also ran a more disturbing article with overtones of genetic determinism which included, "Because the sequence of DNA units in the two genomes is 98.8 percent identical, it seemed that just a handful of genes might define the essence of humanity." (Time to watch Gattaca again, methinks!)
