Let Them Sing It For You

Thursday, July 15, 2004
Erik Bunger has created a fantastic audio database tool called Let Them Sing It For You: you simply type your lyrics in a text box, click [Let Them Sing] and your lyrics are converted into an audio file sourced from popular music in the last few decades (20, 30, 50?). Each word comes from a different song, so you can get some pretty amazing sounds from some straight forward lyrics, and even better sounds from silly ones. A lot of words still need to be added, but apparently one guy is dubbing in all the sounds manually, so he's doing a great job!

It's so simple, so much fun and so addictive! [Via Milk&Cookies]
