[X] This has to be one of the best eLearning resources and site I've ever come across: incorporated subversion. There's so much useful stuff here, I'm going to be reading around for hours, but for now I recommend you check out the main incsub page; check out the specific page on blogs; read James Farmer's blog from which incsub sprung; and finally spend some time reading James' well written and thoroughly argued paper "Communication dynamics: Discussion boards, weblogs and the development of communities of inquiry in online learning environments" which highlights the increasing utility of blogs rather than discussion boards as the primary mode of asynchronous communication for eLearning!

[X] Downhill Battle has a great piece about the Kleptones' A Night at the Hip Hopera and the relationship between copyright, music and expression.

[X] Updating and expanding on Alex Halavais' idea, there is now an official 2004 EduBlog Awards page, run by incsub.org, where all the best scholarly blogs will be praised! :)

PS If anyone wins Lotto an needs to buy me an unexpectedly expensive and KEWL present, feel free to buy me a Panasonic DMR-E500H with a 400GB hardrive for my daily televisual needs! [Via GadgetLounge]
