Salam Pax is in the House

Salam Pax, the (in)famous Badhdad Blogger, has been visiting our Australian shores this past week. He gave an extremely candid interview on Andrew Denton's Enough Rope on Monday night, although obviously feels more comfortable with text and talking. He also gave an interview to The Australian and managed to capture the power of blogging in a few succienct words:
"The disadvantage of the book is that you don't really see how things are put in context. In a weblog, the whole point is, click on the link, read the article, make up your mind , then tell me whether you agree with me or not. The weblog is just immediate."
Of course, with his busy international schedule, Salam's blog is currently on hiatus. Of course, the Salam Pax film is soon going into production, so it looks like blogging fever might be hitting Hollywood soon! You can also check out Salam's radio interview on Radio National in Real Media here.
