Just after Blogger turns 5 and the mandatory GoogleAds are removed from blogspot (free) hosted blogger blogs (aren't those navbars so much nicer!) , now Google and Blogger are giving all bloggers (on Blogger and elsewhere) the option of signing up for AdSense (Google's specific targeted ads within a text box placed whereever you want it. Personally, I won't be signing up, but I do think it's a very clever marketing strategy and a much more intelligent way to get thousands of bloggers to 'chose' AdSense.
In related news, there is a great new function available called Email This Post which allows readers to send email links pointing to their favourite posts. (Email This Post buttons should now be visible on this blog and my pictureblog).
