[X] The BBC reports that Yahoo! has jumped into the online music world with their buy-out of MusicMatch! Given the 700,000ish songs already available via MusicMatch, this could be real competition for iTunes!

[X] The Village Voice has a review of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence which they describe as " as an animated film noir populated by existential cyborgs"! I was very impressed to hear that "the police coroner is named for Donna Haraway, author of the feminist 'Cyborg Manifesto.'" Coroner Haraway ... I like it.
