Waxy linked to The Online Video Game Atlas today, so I had to take a peak. It's amazing how much nostalgia rushes into your head when you see a screenshot from a game on a long-dead platform (Amiga*) you never thought you'd see again. Behold, Marble Madness ...

I wonder how you'd ever explain the appeal of this game to a generation who can control 3D Sims or almost photorealistic aircraft? Seriously, navigating a marble made of pixels through a maze was fantastic fun! GenX Amiga Nostalgia strikes again!

* Yes, I know there are plans to revive the AmigaOS every year or two, but for all mainstream intents and purposes, it's long gone.
